Effective July 9, 2026. This policy explains what information Leader App collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Leader App is operated by United Intellect LLC. By using Leader App you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.

What we collect
When you use Leader App we collect information you give us (name, email, phone number, ministry affiliation, and any content you enter — such as contacts, events, prayer requests, and messages) plus basic technical data your device sends automatically (app version, operating system, and usage patterns). Youth ministry data, including information about minors, is entered by area directors and leaders on behalf of the individuals they serve.
How we use it
We use this information to run the service: coordinating events, delivering the SMS and email notifications you or your area director have opted into, powering check-ins and rides, tracking discipleship progress, and troubleshooting issues. SMS messages are typically 2 to 20 per month per user and are sent only after you check the SMS consent box on our text message opt-in page. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any SMS to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. We do not sell your mobile phone number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Mobile information and text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Opting in to text messages is optional. It is never required to create a Leader App account, to use the service, or to complete any purchase.
Who we share it with
To operate the service we share limited data with vetted service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), Twilio (SMS delivery), SendGrid (email delivery), and FlutterFlow (app hosting). Each provider is bound by data-processing agreements that restrict use of your information to what is needed to deliver Leader App to you. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information if required by law or a valid legal request.
Your rights and choices
You can access, update, or delete your Leader App account at any time by emailing support@leaderapp.org or using the in-app profile settings. Opt out of SMS by replying STOP to any message. Opt out of email by clicking Unsubscribe in any email. Parents and legal guardians of youth users can request access to or removal of their child’s information by emailing support@leaderapp.org. Deleting your account removes your personal data from active use within 30 days; some records may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate operational needs like fraud prevention.
Security and data breach
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, encrypted at-rest storage, role-based access controls, and audit logging — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure and no method of transmission or storage is 100% guaranteed. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify affected users and applicable authorities in accordance with the timelines required by applicable law.
